I was enjoying my life as a typical college student, but my carefree life abruptly changed when a serious reaction to a medication caused me permanent liver damage that requires a liver transplant. A new liver and multiple blood transfusions needed to save my life. Thankfully, the generosity of many O- group blood donors from We Donate Blood gave me a second chance to live again. Without having blood, I would not have survived the critical liver transplant operation.
